There are various designs of panels you can choose, from raised fielded panels, single and double beaded panels, through to the more ornate diamond design, gothic arches, and linenfold.

You can even take advantage of our carving service and make the bed unique to you. Your initials, insignias, family crests are just a small example of the designs we can create. Example below:

You have a choice of posts included various turned, and twisted posts, should you wish to make changes to a bed within our range.

The oak range has been developed over several years working closely with customers, resulting in the very popular hand planed, 'olde oak' look. There is a choice of two standard colours, a rich dark oak (stain A), and a medium oak (stain B), that seem to suit most clients. However if you need the bed to fit in with existing furniture our polisher can produce a colour match, or we are happy to give variations if you just fancy something a little different.

Below shows you an example of the standard colour stains on Oak. This can vary slightly between timber, which is why we always send out colour samples to you until you have something you like. Keeping the wood with a natural finish is becoming more popular and instantly transforms a more traditionally designed bed into a modern piece of furniture.
